I'm an Anne McCaffrey fan too. I have quite a few to catch up on though. Never read any of the Acorna series at all yet. The idea just seems kind of silly to me, but then the only thing of hers I haven't liked much so far are some short stories, so I'm sure I'll still give them a try. Pern is always a favorite though!
I wasn't too fond of the Acorna series or the Freedom series. I liked Rowan series a lot and the Changelings was ok, but the Dragonriders are still my absolute favorites.
