Blood Ties #1: The Turning

Blood Ties #1: The Turning by Jennifer Armintrout
Unabridged Audible 8 CDs

Please someone, save us from horrible audiobook readers. I liked the story in this book. I even liked some of the characters, but she made Ziggy sound like a 12 year old boy with a very, very annoying voice. She didn't do that well with any of the others either. I think I would really like to read the next book in this series and will listen to the audio if they get a new reader.

the reader totally makes an audiobook. It could be the best story in the world, but it's torture to listen to if the reader isn't good! The more I'm listening, the more I'm developing a list of readers that I really enjoy. Top of my list is Barbara Rosenblat and Kate Reading, George Guidall, Gerard Doyle and Simon Jones are just a few!

However much I love audiobooks they really should give us some better narrators! Especially when the audios cost so much!

I agree with Kathy on this one. The story is great but the reader was awful and I cringed every time she did 'Ziggy'.
