Darkest Power Series Book #1: The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong
I liked this one ok, but I wish she'd gotten to what she wanted to say and get on with the story. It took forever for this book to get anything accomplished. It also didn't have an ending. If you want to know what happens, you HAVE to read the next one. I want to continue with the series, but I hope they get better.

Hmmm... I love Kelley's Otherworld series SOOOOOOOOO much that I was surprised to read this new series isn't as good. :(
Oh well. Perhaps she just needed to lay a bunch of groundwork in this first of the series book and subsequent ones will get better. We can hope, right? :)
